Plus, you get 7 white balance and contrast variations to find the perfect fit.
Look Descriptions
Fuji F-Log to Rec.709
This base LUT is your main starting point. Start with this one and then test the other variations to see what works best with the footage you shot. This will be an all-around workhorse LUT and is compatible with any type of scene whether it’s bright daylight with harsh lighting, moody interiors or dark nighttime.
Fuji F-Log to Rec.709 +1 and +2 Contrast
These LUTs have a bit more of a punch than the base LUT. These are useful in situations where you may not want to add any creative look on top and are looking for a fast, natural grade that you can easily deliver as-is.
Fuji F-Log to Rec.709 -1 and -2 Contrast
These LUTs will retain a bit more detail in the highlights and shadows. If your footage is leaning darker or leaning brighter, these LUTs can help keep your highlights or shadows from getting too harsh.
Fuji F-Log to Rec.709 Warm
Great for golden hour or any scene that you want to add some warmth. It’s also useful if the white balance happens to be a bit on the cool side and you want to compensate it and bring it back to a more neutral base. The warmth also compliments skin tones and makes them pop a bit more.
Fuji F-Log to Rec.709 Cold
This LUT cools down your white balance and can be useful on indoor scenes shot with tungsten lighting that can tend to be too warm and harsh. You can also use it to intensify cold scenes such as snow or anything that needs to look nice and clean.
Fuji F-Log to Classic Chrome
A conversion based on the Classic Chrome film simulation built into Fuji’s cameras. This allows you to shoot in F-Log and then convert to the well-loved Classic Chrome profile in post.
Kodak Gold
Designed to emulate the Kodak Gold film stock. It creates pastel-like colors with rich skin tones complimented by cool greens and soft highlights. This look feels truly balanced, bright and airy that looks great on footage with people or portraits.
Filmic
A nostalgic look inspired by popular motion picture styles. It pushes mid tones and highlights warmer while pulling shadows cooler that really adds a cinematic feel to your footage by darkening it about half a stop.
Crisp
Leans on the cooler side of the white balance spectrum and has more blue tones in the highlights. It works well on footage that may have overpowering red tones that need to be balanced or projects that need crisp looking whites.
Cool Shadows
Adds a blue/teal tone to the shadows while maintaining mid tones and skin tones. This look is useful on footage in the snow or a cold environment to intensify the dramatic feeling.
Faded Green
A warmer look that’s useful for footage that has greens and blues in it. It pushes green tones warmer and blue tones towards teal while tinting shadows a subtle warm green.
Earthy
A moodier look that pushes the footage darker. It features nice rich green tones, punchy red tones, rich skin tones and faded highlights.
Folk Soft
Another moody look that applies a nice overall warmness to your footage. It features more subdued tones but creates a richness in lower mid tones and shadows.
Faded
More neutral in terms of exposure shift but compresses highlights down to blend in more with the scene. This is useful for outdoor scenes where the sky has bright highlights or overexposed areas the need to be softened as well as naturally lit interiors that need a bit of brightening in the mid tones.
Teal Orange
A tasteful take on the teal and orange look. Greens are pushed warm, blues are pushed teal and skin tones are slightly warmed but maintain accurate. Designed to intensify color contrast, this look works great for any scene in need of some drama and pop.
Arctic
Adds an overall coldness to your footage by pushing both the highlights and shadows towards a cold blue. It’s great for blue hour, nighttime footage or anything in need of some cold dramatic tones.
