Easy V-Log Grading
Grading V-Log footage can be tricky to get natural and pleasing results. To make things trickier, Panasonic’s provided V-Log LUTs result in less than pleasing results, leaving you to do a fair amount of manual work on top of the LUT to get accurate colors. These LUTs are calibrated to perform a proper matrix transform and gamma conversion to true Rec.709 targets, so you can trust you’re getting the absolute best image out of your camera as possible.
Wide Range of Looks
These LUTs work great on all types of footage from interior, exterior, landscapes, portraits, or product shots in all types of lighting conditions. You can apply a conversion LUT and create a look yourself, or apply a creative LUT for a one-step conversion and creative look.
More Accurate Colors than Free V-Log LUT
The free V-Log LUT provided by Panasonic doesn’t seem to do a proper job at the matrix conversion from Panasonic V-Gamut to Rec.709 color space. On the left, you’ll see Panasonic’s conversion LUT with desaturated, lifeless and innaccurate colors. On the right, you’ll see the LUTCo V-Log conversion LUT as a great starting point for the rest of your color grade. These LUTs give you room to make your own adjustments on top of the conversion.
