7/10/2025 - Added new D-Log M conversion LUT “Vibrant” with better skin tone and lip color reproduction.
In order to properly color grade D-Log or D-LogM footage, a conversion LUT must be used to convert the log gamma and wider color gamut to the Rec.709 color space and gamma. While conversion LUTs from camera manufacturers can be the most technically accurate, they don’t always yield the most pleasing or natural results to the eye. Plus, when using with other creative LUTs, it can be beneficial to use a conversion LUT which creates a natural contrast curve with enough room for a creative tone curve and other adjustments to the image.
This LUT pack is designed to convert footage shot on DJI cameras in D-Log or D-Log M to Rec.709 for color grading. Designed to balance technical accuracy and pleasing results, these LUTs make it easy to grade your footage in a few simple steps.
The free LUT download below is a legacy version designed specifically to convert D-Log M footage shot on the Mavic 2 Pro drone. It may work on other D-Log M footage. However, it won’t be as accurate as the D-Log M LUTs in our store.
For best results, apply this conversion LUT before any creative LUTs. The image below shows an example of the recommended node tree and image processing pipeline.
